April 4 - Charleston Gazette-Mail
In the spirit of April 1st, food columnist and talented chef, April Hamilton, wrote a fun story about Larry and the 40th anniversary of "Junk Food Junkie" reaching the Billboard Top Ten in her Sunday column "Counter Intelligence". Read it here and see how his eating habits have been changed by his wife and kids.

March 8, 2016 - Nice Words in No Depression
Photog and critic Amos Perrine's latest column, "Through the Lens" in No Depression has a nice review of the album. He says:
"this album demonstrates that [Larry] should not have stayed away so long. While the album consists of mostly covers of songs done by artists who appeared on the show -- such as Townes Van Zandt, Jesse Winchester, and Billy Joe Shaver -- the originals are the treasures. Most notably, 'What Do You Think About (When You Think Of Love),' which was inspired by the great American writer Raymond Carver. In it, Groce becomes the Robert Altman of song...'When the Mist Clears Away'...captures West Virginia, in all its magnificence and obscurity, like few others...Live Forever is out now; don't wait till forever to pick it up."
March 6, 2016 - Ready or not, here we come.
Sandra and I will be performing on Mountain Stage along with Robert Earl Keen, Guster and The Westies. Robert Earl was so nice that he sang the duet with me on "Live Forever" (Ray Wylie Hubbard sings it on the recording). The show will be aired on most stations the week after March 26.
When Rhett Miller was snowed out during the Big East Blizzard at the end of January, we had to find a replacement overnight. The only one that was available and affordable was us. We weren't quite ready to perform live, but what the hell. Now I have to edit the show this week. Maybe I'll leave that to P-Train and Joni. Not sure if I can face the music.
